Which type of investor suits you best?
Not every type of investor is necessarily an option for your company. Many only invest in later growth phases of companies, while others enter the company directly after the idea has arisen. Here you should keep an eye on the types of investors so that you can address them specifically and win them over.

In the direct environment: Friends, Family and Fools
One of the most obvious areas where you can find investors for your business idea early on is your direct, private environment. Friends and relatives know the founder personally. An assessment of the team and their competencies is therefore possible from a special perspective that other investors do not have. The founders also have an advance of trust if it can be seen that the team has “committed to the cause”.
But accepting money from your personal environment also has its pitfalls. “Friendship ends with money,” is a well-known saying. The money itself is not the problem, but the frequent lack of transparency about the actual risk of starting a business. The majority of all start-ups fail, the capital is quickly used up and there are initially no sales. So even if the project was promising, liquidity is running out in the meantime. The initial euphoria of private investors quickly turns into disappointment.  Because: Not everyone succeeds in the clean separation of personal and business topics.

Present the idea correctly
When an investor is found who shows interest in your startup, it means: convince! Most of the time, you only have one chance with every investor to convince him of your business idea. So this opportunity must be used optimally. There are various ways in which you can present your idea convincingly. In many cases, the forms of presentation can also build on one another, as investors ideally want to learn more little by little.

1. One Pager: With the One Pager you list the most important key data of your company on just one sheet. This should give the investor a first impression of your company and can then decide whether he would like to learn more about it.

2. Pitch Deck: The pitch deck comprises a presentation of approximately 10 to 15 pages. This is about getting closer to the company’s idea and giving the investor more detailed informationcan also build on one another, as investors ideally want to learn more little by little.

3. Business plan: Finally, the business plan follows, which is about the complete implementation of the business idea. This is where the financial figures come into play, which you should check and recalculate down to the smallest detail. Investors attach particular importance to the financial plan and often choose for or against a company based on this plan.

We are ready to help you, simply make an appointment, meet investors and present your ideas. Our team and our large network of investors from all over the world is so large that we can successfully implement any business idea:
